We had the wind at our backs the whole way on Saturday (and today). It really brought the morale of the group up after several days of hard biking into the wind. Instead of struggling to bike at 15 mph, we were cruising up hills at 20. One of the construction workers who was filling in the cracks on the road knew exactly how we felt. :)
I grabbed a quick shot of half of our support crew (the SAG wagon) as they were going by. Becky and Emma have been great at keeping us supplied with water, food and encouragement throught the day. We've really appreciated them!
This was one of the most welcome sights of the trip so far. At least it was for me, but i think it was for most of the rest of the team as well. It's great to be moving on to our 4th state!
